Business Revitalization Plan Guide for Honkai: Nexus Anima

Business Revitalization Plan explained: all 10 Iia shops, the 4, 8, 15 and 25 star ratings that unlock them, Anima staff, Joy Tokens and Anima Live.

By Nexus Anima Hubshopsjoy-tokensidle-incomeiiaguide

The Business Revitalization Plan is the shop-management system in Honkai: Nexus Anima. You invest in up to 10 shops around Iia, staff them with your Anima, and collect Joy Tokens while you are offline. Every shop upgrade earns a star, and your commercial street rating unlocks new shops at 4, 8 and 15 stars, topping out at 25 stars.

It opens through the main quest of the same name, which the Committee for a Joyful Iia hands you early in the story. Everything here comes from a test build of the game, so names, numbers and unlock points can change before launch.

Key takeaways

  • Ten shops, unlocked in batches. Atlas Café and Quick Bites come first. AmiTea and Hair We Are open at 4 stars, Petals’ Promise and BerryNox at 8, and the last four at 15.
  • Every upgrade is a star. The Committee’s ratings go 4, 8, 15 and 25 stars, and 25 is the cap.
  • Anima are your staff. Each shop needs at least 3 assigned Anima, has ability requirements, and rewards high marked stats with a bigger earnings multiplier.
  • Joy Tokens pay for everything. Investing, upgrading, Product Development and the Joyful Jumbomart all run on them.
  • Anima Live is the shortcut. One Live Ticket pays an estimated 8 hours of earnings from every shop. You get 2 tickets a day.
  • Several shops want a specific Anima. Octopourri, Vulberry, Olivesper, Bobabirb, Muscimmon and Frigull each come up in a shop’s quest, so bond them early.

Test-build caveat. This system was read from a closed-beta build whose own watermark says it “does not represent the final product.” Star thresholds, product names and payouts may change, and no drop rates or exact Joy Token figures are given here because the build does not show them.

How the Business Revitalization Plan starts

Shortly after you register with the Committee for a Joyful Iia, Mayor Alfonso Traun and the Committee commission you to revive Iia’s struggling shops. The story reason is that the Fleming Collective is infiltrating the town, and the Committee wants its own investor in place first. The Committee is chaired by Juelle, the Eidos who rescues you on your first night.

Your first stop is Atlas Café, described in game as the most famous coffee shop in the New Quarter. Its owner, Kaffah, is about to transfer the property. The fix is to win back the café’s Kaffiends, which turn their noses up at black coffee but come back for milk coffee. The tutorial also suggests bringing a Mimoo to wake a sleepy Kaffiend.

Startup money comes from the Committee’s Happiness Fund, which Alfonso agrees to release. Once you sign, you are a shareholder of Atlas Café, and the game sends you to the Management interface for your first staff dispatch. Finishing the quest line also unlocks Product Development.

Quick Bites and your first livestream

The second shop, Quick Bites, is in a worse state. Manager Haalan has a delivery backlog, no staff and no money. You clear the orders on a Furrari (the Furrari Express driving minigame), then bond a Frigull to cover the staffing gap.

The money problem is where Anima Live comes in. Valynn suggests livestream shopping, you run your first stream from the Management interface, and the proceeds fund the Quick Bites investment. Right after that you hit a cash crunch, complete two Product Developments, and upgrade Atlas Café. That upgrade is when Cirraline sets your first target: a 4-star investment rating.

Iia street with a giant dumbbell sign on a rooftop and a pink blossom tree in Honkai: Nexus Anima Iia’s shopfronts are the backdrop for the whole plan: each storefront you revive becomes a Quick Travel point.

Every shop and how to unlock it

Each shop sits behind a star rating and a short quest with its manager. Most of those quests are gentle, but several ask you to bring a specific Anima, so it pays to know them in advance. The products listed are the two Product Development tasks each shop’s upgrade list names.

Shop Unlocks at Quest requirement Products to develop
Atlas Café Start Lure the Kaffiends back with milk coffee Caramel Latte and Original Coffee Beans; Cold Brew Extra Strong Black Coffee and Lotusfruit Sparkling Black Coffee
Quick Bites After the café Clear Furrari deliveries, bond Frigull, run one Anima Live French Fries and Sciell Cola; Quick Bites Family Bucket and Future Champion Kids’ Meal
AmiTea 4 stars Help Bobabirb finish its training, then bring Bobabirb Birbrewed Lemon Tea and Cumulocheesy Tea; Berryamour Smoothie and Gardenia InkiTea
Hair We Are 4 stars Bond Octopourri so Tony trusts you “Get a Head Re-Start” Shampoo and “Miracle” Hair Growth Serum; “No Chatting” Exclusive Haircut & Styling and a Director’s Style cut
Petals’ Promise 8 stars Revive the withered flowers with Olivesper Forget-Me-Lilies and Manager’s Random Mix & Match; Potted Succulent Plant and Preserved Flowers
BerryNox 8 stars Bond Vulberry and hand out cakes to raise its popularity Microwavable Meal Kit and Nostalgic Blind Box Gummy Candy; Rainy Day Umbrella and Highly Concentrated Nexus Energy Drink
Muscimmon Gym 15 stars Post flyers for Sartre, then station a Muscimmon Monthly Gym Membership and Muscle-Maxing with Muscimmon; “Feel the Burn!” Fat-Burning Class and Kaffiend Yoga Fiends
Tactile Post 15 stars Direct Furrari to deliver the souvenir backlog “Summer in Iia” Stamp and “Autumn in Iia” Commemorative Mailbox; Iia Specialty Gift Box and “Winter in Iia” Postmark Collection
Wholeheart Ramen 15 stars Walk the street and find a diner willing to try the ramen Honey Chashu Ramen and Super Spicy Ramen; Shrimp Fishcake Ramen and Soy Sauce Ramen with Soft-Boiled Egg
Blacktail Sweets 15 stars Invest once the funds are ready Tailramisu and Black Cat Cupcake; Taileep Roll and Lovestruck Kitty Combo

A third AmiTea task pairs Bobabirb Coconut Lemon Tea with Cumulocheesy Tea. It looks like an alternate version of the lemon tea task rather than a separate product line.

The shops that need a specific Anima

The table hides how much of this system is really an Anima collection check. Here is what to bond before you reach each shop:

  • Octopourri for Hair We Are. Tony treats it as proof of the art of hair dyeing. There is also a Charisma check: with low CHA, Octopourri avoids you.
  • Vulberry for BerryNox. Its Sweet Toss ability is how you hand out cakes for Seven Seas Jim, and the deal asks you to station your Vulberry at the store.
  • Olivesper for Petals’ Promise. It brings the flowers back to life for clerk Li Pothos.
  • Bobabirb for AmiTea. You help it finish its training, then take it to Jean Boba to sign. The Bobabirb’s Gunnery Skills shooting minigame stars AmiTea’s Bobabirb.
  • Muscimmon for Muscimmon Gym. Sartre wants yours at the gym permanently. A Strength check has Muscimmon praise your STR.
  • Mr. Avocado for Tactile Post. The post office insists every investor needs one, since it is the postal service’s spiritual mascot.

If you want to know where any of these live, each Anima dex page lists where to find it, and the exploration guide maps every Iia district.

Investment stars and the commercial street rating

Every shop upgrade grants one star, and the stars add up to your commercial street rating. The Committee reviews that rating and hands you a new investment list at each threshold. Cirraline is the character who confirms each new batch, always at the café.

Rating What it unlocks Notes
4 stars AmiTea and Hair We Are Cirraline’s first goal, set at the café
8 stars Petals’ Promise and BerryNox Cirraline confirms the batch at the café
15 stars Muscimmon Gym, Tactile Post, Wholeheart Ramen, Blacktail Sweets The game calls this an outstanding investor
25 stars Nothing new: the Committee’s goals are complete The highest rating, an apex investor

At 25 stars the quest line reports that you have completed the operational goals the Committee assigned, and that you can still keep managing the shops. Star Rewards pay out along the way, and new items open in the Joyful Jumbomart as your star level rises.

What an upgrade actually changes

Upgrading is not just a star. The game says each upgrade raises the number of Anima you can dispatch to that shop and the total ability capacity they can bring. So an upgraded shop earns more, but it also asks for more and better staff. Each shop also keeps an Upgrade To-Do List of prerequisites, usually Product Development tasks, that must be done before the next upgrade.

The investment achievements line up with this. They ask you to gain 4, 5, 8 and 15 Investment Stars, invest in each pair of shops, complete 2 livestreams, claim shop earnings 3 times, and reach 110% staff efficiency at every one of the ten shops.

Hillside road in Iia lined with hedges, a red stairway and shop signs in Honkai: Nexus Anima Once a shop is unlocked, you can Quick Travel to it directly instead of walking across town.

Staffing shops with your Anima

This is the part that decides how much you earn. Each shop has Staff Assignment slots and asks you to assign at least 3 Anima. Shops have specific requirements for Anima abilities, and the management screens carry three stat labels, Brains, Brawn and Friendliness, which appear to be the abilities shops ask for.

The game gives two rules for staffing. First, meet the basic ability requirements, or the shop “will not be able to operate normally.” Second, once those are met, push the marked ability stats as high as you can, because they set the earnings multiplier. That is what staff efficiency measures, and it can run past 100%.

Staffing rules worth knowing

  • One shop per Anima. An Anima assigned to one shop cannot be assigned to another.
  • More shops, more demand. The game warns that every new shop raises the overall demand for Anima abilities, so a deep roster matters more as you expand.
  • Managers are permanent. When you invest, the shop’s signature Anima leaves you to become its manager. The manager is permanently stationed and cannot be replaced.
  • Fill every slot. The game warns you when a shop still has open assignment slots. An empty slot is lost multiplier.
  • Check back often. The tutorial says to manage your assigned Anima promptly to maximise revenue.

The bigger your collection, the easier this gets, which is one more reason to keep bonding. The bond guide covers how to catch Anima in the wild, and how to evolve Anima explains how the forms you staff with change.

Joy Tokens, idle income and the Joyful Jumbomart

Joy Tokens are the currency of the whole system. Each shop you manage keeps generating them based on its operating efficiency, including while you are offline. You collect them with Claim Earnings, and the Earnings Report shows what each shop made.

There is a catch: storage. Every shop has a Joy Token storage limit, and the game flags it when a shop is full. A full shop stops filling, so a long break without claiming throws income away. Claim before you log off, and again when you come back.

Joy Tokens have four uses:

  1. Investing in a newly unlocked shop (its Investment Cost).
  2. Upgrading a shop (its Shop Upgrade Cost), which earns the star.
  3. Product Development, which costs tokens up front but, in the game’s words, generates long-term passive income.
  4. The Joyful Jumbomart, the exchange shop, where more stock unlocks as your star level rises.

Product Development and Hot Sale items

Developing a product adds it to a shop’s range. The game ties this to livestream appeal: new products make streams more attractive, which raises sales. The shop screens show an Item Revenue Multiplier, and some items carry a Hot Sale tag. Development also clears the to-do list items that gate the next upgrade, so it is rarely optional.

Iia street corner with a zebra crossing and a green shopfront in Honkai: Nexus Anima Shops keep earning while you explore. Claim before a long session away so none of them hits its storage cap.

Anima Live: the livestream shortcut

Anima Live is a livestream you start from the Business Empire page with the Go LIVE button. It pays out an estimated 8 hours of earnings from all your shops in one go, so it is the fastest way to fund the next investment.

Each stream costs one Live Ticket. You automatically receive 2 Live Tickets a day, and there is a cap on how many you can hold, so unused tickets stop piling up. The practical rule is to spend both tickets every day you play.

Because a stream pays out your shops’ earnings, anything that raises those earnings makes it bigger: upgrades, better staff and developed products, which the game says raise a stream’s appeal. A livestream right after a round of upgrades is worth more than one before them.

A simple daily routine

If you play a few minutes a day, this order keeps the plan moving without wasting anything:

  1. Claim Earnings from every shop before anything else, so none sits at its storage limit.
  2. Check staffing. Fill empty slots and swap in Anima with higher marked stats.
  3. Run both Anima Live streams after you have done any upgrades for the day.
  4. Spend Joy Tokens on the cheapest upgrade or development that clears a to-do item.
  5. Bond ahead. If the next batch includes Hair We Are, BerryNox or Petals’ Promise, have Octopourri, Vulberry and Olivesper ready.

New players should also fold this into the wider early-game plan in the beginner progression guide, since shop quests run alongside the main story and the Qualifiers.

What we do not know yet

The test build is clear about the structure and quiet about the numbers. We do not know how many Joy Tokens a shop earns per hour, what each upgrade costs, how high a staff efficiency multiplier can go, or what the Joyful Jumbomart sells at launch. We also have not confirmed whether a manager Anima stays usable in battle.

There is also an Activity Hub entry called Joyful Iia Once Again, which asks you to raise shop levels for rewards. How it differs from the base system at launch is unannounced. We will update this guide when the game releases.

Bottom line

The Business Revitalization Plan is an idle-income layer built on your Anima collection. Invest in Atlas Café and Quick Bites, upgrade toward 4, 8 and 15 stars to unlock the other eight shops, and aim for 25 stars. Staff every shop with at least 3 Anima that meet its ability requirements, claim Joy Tokens before shops fill, and spend both daily Live Tickets.

The single most useful thing you can do today is bond the shop Anima early: Octopourri, Vulberry, Olivesper, Bobabirb, Muscimmon and Mr. Avocado. Then use the team builder and tier list to keep your best battlers on the board while the rest earn their keep in the shops.

Frequently asked questions

How do you unlock shops in Honkai: Nexus Anima?
Through the main quest Business Revitalization Plan. The Committee for a Joyful Iia commissions you to revive the town's shops, and Atlas Café in the New Quarter is the first one you invest in. Clearing that quest also unlocks Product Development, and each later shop has its own short quest before you can invest.
What are Joy Tokens in Honkai: Nexus Anima?
Joy Tokens are the shop currency. Your shops generate them while you are away, and Anima Live pays out a lump sum. You spend them to invest in new shops, upgrade shops, develop products, and buy rewards at the Joyful Jumbomart. Each shop can only hold so many before it stops filling, so claim them regularly.
What is Anima Live in Honkai: Nexus Anima?
Anima Live is a livestream you start from the Business Empire page. Each stream costs one Live Ticket and pays out an estimated 8 hours of earnings from all your shops at once. You receive 2 Live Tickets a day automatically, and there is a cap on how many you can hold.
How many shops can you invest in?
Ten in the current test build: Atlas Café, Quick Bites, AmiTea, Hair We Are, Petals' Promise, BerryNox, Muscimmon Gym, Tactile Post, Wholeheart Ramen and Blacktail Sweets. They unlock in batches as your commercial street rating climbs to 4, 8 and 15 stars.
What is the highest investment rating?
25 stars. Reaching it completes the operational goals the Committee set, and the game calls you an apex investor. You can keep managing and upgrading your shops after that.
Do you lose the Anima that becomes a shop manager?
The game says the Anima will leave you and become that shop's manager, and that a manager is permanently stationed in the shop and cannot be replaced. We have not confirmed whether it also leaves your battle roster, so treat it as a permanent assignment until launch.
