Honkai: Nexus Anima Release Date

Honkai: Nexus Anima does not have a release date. As of October 16, 2026, HoYoverse has not named a launch day or even a launch window, for PC, mobile or any region. The game has only been playable in closed tests, and the last one ended 81 days ago.

Is Honkai: Nexus Anima on Steam, the App Store or Google Play yet?

Not yet. A store page is usually the first public sign that a launch is close, because it is where pre-download and a dated "coming soon" field appear. None of the four stores HoYoverse would use has a listing.

Pages that promise a Nexus Anima download today, or an "early access" APK, are not from HoYoverse. The platforms guide covers where the game will actually be available, and the system requirementspage covers what it needs to run.

Every Honkai: Nexus Anima test so far

Three tests have run since the game was announced on August 29, 2025. The two public recruitments were 295 days apart, start to start, and each one wiped all progress at the end.

The Evolution Test was the largest of the three and the first on Android. Here is its window in local time, converted from the UTC+8 clock HoYoverse announced it in.

Will Honkai: Nexus Anima release in 2026 or 2027?

HoYoverse has not said, so this section is our reasoning rather than a leak or an announcement. The most useful evidence is HoYoverse's own track record. Its last three games each ran a closed test that it called final, then launched a few weeks after that test.

Apply the same 75 to 88 day gap to the Evolution Test and a launch would have landed between September 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026. We are 99 days past that test's start, past that window, and there is still no date, no store page and no pre-download.

The difference is the label. HoYoverse announced the final tests for Genshin Impact, Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero as final. It never called the Evolution Test that. Our read is that at least one more test is likely before launch, which makes 2027 more likely than the end of 2026. If HoYoverse announces a test described as final, the pattern above is the best guide to what comes next.

Has Honkai: Nexus Anima released yet?

No. The last time anyone could play it was the Evolution Test, which closed onJuly 27, 2026. Since then the game has appeared once, as a hands-on demo at gamescom 2026 in Cologne from August 26 to 30, and HoYoverse used that show to hand out demo time rather than announce a date. It also did not appear in Tokyo Game Show 2026 news, which ran September 17 to 21. A quiet stretch between tests is normal for HoYoverse, and says nothing either way about the project's health.

Honkai: Nexus Anima mobile release date

There is no separate mobile date, because there is no date at all. iOS and Android are confirmed platforms alongside PC, and the Evolution Test ran on all three at once with progress synced to one HoYoverse account. The first test, the Nexus Bond Test, was PC and iOS only, so Android players have had one test so far.

HoYoverse's recent launches reached PC and mobile on the same day, so a staggered mobile launch would break its own pattern. Consoles are a different story: PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and macOS have not been announced. The platforms guide covers the PS5 question in detail.

Honkai: Nexus Anima China release date

There is no China date either. The game received its Chinese publishing license from the NPPA in September 2025, one of 156 games approved that month. A license is a prerequisite for a launch in China, not a schedule for one.

The same report said Chinese reservations had passed 4.07 million. That figure is from a single press report about the Chinese market, and HoYoverse has not published a global sign-up count.
