How to Pre-Register for Honkai: Nexus Anima (2026)
Pre-register for Honkai: Nexus Anima on hna.hoyoverse.com with a HoYoverse account. What it gets you, rewards status, store listings, and scams to avoid.
You pre-register for Honkai: Nexus Anima on the official site, hna.hoyoverse.com, using a HoYoverse account. That is the only pre-registration route that exists today. There are no App Store, Google Play, Steam or Epic Games Store pages to follow yet, and there is nothing to preorder.
Pre-registration has been open on the official site since September 13, 2025, the day after recruitment for the first closed beta closed. It signs you up for launch news. It does not put you in a beta test, and HoYoverse has not announced any pre-registration rewards.
Facts checked 2026-09-27. Honkai: Nexus Anima has no release date and no launch window. Rewards, store listings and pricing below are marked as confirmed or unconfirmed individually. When we describe what HoYoverse “usually” does, that is precedent from its other games, not an announcement for this one.
Key takeaways
- Where: the official site, hna.hoyoverse.com. What you need: a HoYoverse account.
- Open since: September 13, 2025. It is still the only place to pre-register.
- Rewards: none announced. Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero used milestone rewards tied to total sign-ups, so that is a reasonable guess, not a promise.
- Stores: no App Store, Google Play, Steam or Epic listing as of September 27, 2026.
- Preorder: not possible. The game is expected to be free to play, which HoYoverse has not formally confirmed.
- Beta access: separate. Every test so far used its own recruitment survey. See our Evolution Test sign-up guide for how that worked.
- Scams: nobody sells legitimate accounts, codes or “early access” builds. Official email only comes from HoYoverse addresses.
How to pre-register for Honkai: Nexus Anima, step by step
The official site is a script-heavy page that HoYoverse redesigns between campaigns, so we are not going to quote button labels that may have changed by the time you read this. The flow itself has been stable since 2025, and it works the same on a phone or a desktop browser.
- Open the official site. Type hna.hoyoverse.com into your browser yourself, or follow the link from the official X account, @HonkaiNA. Do not follow a pre-registration link from a random video description or a direct message.
- Find the pre-registration option. It sits on the landing page, usually near the main key art. During beta recruitment windows the page may lead with a test banner instead, so scroll if you do not see it straight away.
- Sign in with your HoYoverse account. If you already play Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail or Zenless Zone Zero, use that same account. If not, the sign-in window offers account creation with an email address.
- Confirm the details it asks for. Depending on the campaign, that can include your email, a region or a platform preference. Answer accurately, since HoYoverse uses this to decide who gets which notices.
- Check for a confirmation. You should see an on-page confirmation. If an email arrives, check that it comes from an official HoYoverse address, and look in spam and promotions folders too.
That is the whole process. It takes a couple of minutes, and you only need to do it once per account.
Already pre-registered? Check which account you used
The most common problem we see is people who signed up in 2025 with an old email and have since forgotten which one. If you pre-registered with an account you no longer use, launch notices go there.
Sign in on the official site with the account you plan to play on. If it shows you as already registered, you are set. If it offers to register you, do it again with that account.
What pre-registering does and does not do
Pre-registration is a mailing list with an account attached. Knowing its limits saves a lot of worry.
What it does:
- Puts your HoYoverse account on HoYoverse’s list for launch notifications for Nexus Anima.
- Tells HoYoverse there is interest. Publishers watch these numbers when planning launches.
- If HoYoverse runs a milestone reward campaign, it is the likely way your account would be counted. That part is unconfirmed.
What it does not do:
- It does not get you into a closed beta. The Nexus Bond Test (September 2025), the Aspect Exploration Project (recruitment from April 2026) and the Evolution Test (July 2026) each ran their own recruitment survey.
- It does not reserve a username, a server slot or any in-game item.
- It does not download the game or commit you to anything. There is no payment step.
If what you actually want is to play before launch, pre-registration will not do it. Our next beta test tracker covers what we know about future tests, and the answer as of today is that no third test has been announced.
Beta access was always handled by its own recruitment survey and notification wave, as with the Evolution Test in July 2026, not by pre-registration.
Pre-registration rewards: what is confirmed and what HoYoverse usually does
Confirmed for Nexus Anima: nothing. HoYoverse has not announced a pre-registration reward, a milestone tier or a reward amount. If a site lists specific rewards for Nexus Anima today, it is guessing.
What we can say is how HoYoverse handled its recent launches. For Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, it ran milestone rewards tied to total sign-ups: the more people pre-registered, the more reward tiers unlocked for the player base. The rewards were in-game currency and items, handed out after launch.
Unconfirmed. The milestone model is precedent from Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. HoYoverse has not said Nexus Anima will copy it, and we will not guess at tiers or amounts. We will update this guide the moment anything official is posted.
If a milestone campaign does appear, a few things are likely based on those precedents:
- It would start close to launch, usually when store pages go live, rather than a year early.
- Rewards would be shared by everyone once a tier unlocks, so you would not need to recruit friends or hit a personal target.
- They would arrive after launch, not before.
What the rewards would probably be worth
In the Evolution Test build, the premium gacha currency was Aspect Gems. Our gacha guide explains how they convert into pulls. If HoYoverse follows its own pattern, launch currency rewards would be in that premium currency, but the currency names could still change before release.
Early pulls matter in a gacha game, and they are why some players reroll at launch. Even so, a pre-registration bonus is never large enough to be a reason to rush anything. Sign up, then forget about it until launch.
Aspect Gems were the premium currency in the Evolution Test build. Any launch reward currency is unconfirmed.
App Store, Google Play, Steam and Epic: can you pre-register there?
Not yet. As of September 27, 2026, Honkai: Nexus Anima has no listing on the Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam or the Epic Games Store. You cannot pre-order, pre-register or wishlist it on any of them, because the pages do not exist.
That is normal for where the game is. HoYoverse has usually opened store pre-registration close to launch, around the time a release date is announced. When store pages do go live, they will almost certainly be announced on the official site and the @HonkaiNA account first.
How to spot a fake store listing
Because there is no real listing, anything called “Honkai Nexus Anima” on an app store today is not official. Look at the developer name. The real one will come from HoYoverse’s own publisher account, the same one behind Genshin Impact and Star Rail on that store. Fan apps, “guides” dressed up as the game, and wallpaper apps borrowing the name are all unofficial.
Which platforms to expect
The confirmed platforms from the closed betas are PC (Windows), iOS and Android. PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and macOS have not been announced. Our platforms guide goes through the console question in detail, and our system requirements guide has the official device card from the Evolution Test, including 35 GB of storage on PC and 15 GB on mobile.
Can you preorder Honkai: Nexus Anima?
No. There is no preorder, no paid edition, no founder’s pack and no deposit of any kind. If a site offers to sell you one, walk away.
Honkai: Nexus Anima is expected to be free to play. Every HoYoverse game, from Genshin Impact to Zenless Zone Zero, launched free with in-game purchases, and the Evolution Test had payments switched off entirely. HoYoverse has not formally stated launch pricing for Nexus Anima, so we call it expected rather than confirmed.
For a free-to-play game, pre-registration fills the role a preorder would for a paid one. It is free, it is the only official way to put your name down, and you can do it right now.
Pre-registration vs beta sign-up: what is the difference?
People mix these up constantly, mostly because both happen on the same official site with the same HoYoverse account. They are separate systems with different purposes.
| Pre-registration | Beta sign-up (recruitment survey) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Interest list for the full launch | Application to join a limited closed test |
| Where | hna.hoyoverse.com | hna.hoyoverse.com, only during a recruitment window |
| When | Open since September 13, 2025, still open | Only during each window (the Evolution Test ran June 22 to July 3, 2026) |
| Who gets in | Everyone who signs up | Selected applicants only, notified by email |
| What you get | Launch notices, plus any rewards HoYoverse announces | Access to a test build that is wiped at the end |
| Is anything open now? | Yes | No new test announced as of September 27, 2026 |
The practical advice is simple: do both when both are open. Pre-registration costs nothing and stays on your account. A beta survey only matters while a recruitment window is running, and our Evolution Test sign-up guide shows what that survey looked like last time.
Get your HoYoverse account and HoYoLAB ready
Your HoYoverse account is what you pre-register with, what you play on, and what carries your progress between devices. During the Evolution Test, progress synced across PC, iOS and Android on one account. Launch cross-save is expected but not confirmed, as our platforms guide explains.
A few minutes of setup now avoids launch-day trouble:
- Use an email you control long term. Launch notices, any reward mail and account recovery all go there.
- Set a unique password that you do not use on any other site.
- Turn on the extra security options HoYoverse offers in account settings, such as email verification.
- Join HoYoLAB, HoYoverse’s official community hub. Official news, events and redemption campaigns for its games show up there.
- Whitelist the official sender. Evolution Test access mail came from
notifications@official.hoyoverse.com. Our notification schedule post has the details, including checking spam and promotions folders.
While you wait, it is a good time to learn the game. The Anima dex covers every creature we have recorded from the betas, the Eidos database covers the playable cast, and the tier list shows how the Evolution Test build played. All of it is based on beta data and could change.
Scams: accounts, codes and “early access” APKs
The gap between a closed beta and a launch is when scams around HoYoverse games are busiest. Nexus Anima has had two public closed tests and a lot of attention, so expect them.
Official preview art from HoYoverse. Real news about the game comes from the official site, @HonkaiNA and HoYoLAB, not from sellers.
The common ones, and why each is fake:
- “Pre-registration” sites that are not hna.hoyoverse.com. Some copy the look of the official page and ask you to sign in, which captures your HoYoverse password. Only enter your login on HoYoverse’s own domains.
- Beta accounts or access codes for sale. Beta access was always granted to selected applicants by email, and codes are tied to a specific account. Buying one gets you nothing, and it breaks HoYoverse’s terms.
- “Early access” or “global version” APKs. No launch build exists. Anything offered as a download today is either malware or a leaked test client, and installing it can cost you your account.
- Reward code giveaways. No pre-registration rewards or redemption codes have been announced, so a “Nexus Anima reward code” posted today is bait.
- Emails asking for your password. HoYoverse does not ask for your password, payment details or verification codes by email. Check the sender against
notifications@official.hoyoverse.combefore clicking anything.
If you already entered your password on a suspicious site, change it on the official HoYoverse account page right away, and change it anywhere else you reused it.
The China reservation count: 4.07 million
The one pre-registration number in circulation comes from China. TechNode reported in September 2025 that the game had passed 4.07 million reservations for the Chinese market. That was the same month the game received its publishing license from China’s NPPA, one of 156 games approved that month.
Treat that figure carefully. It is a single report, it covers the Chinese market only, and it was counted on Chinese platforms rather than on hna.hoyoverse.com. HoYoverse has not published a global pre-registration count.
It still tells you something. A creature collector from the studio behind Genshin Impact drew millions of sign-ups within weeks of its reveal. If HoYoverse does run global milestone rewards, reaching the tiers is unlikely to be the problem.
Bottom line
Pre-register on hna.hoyoverse.com with the HoYoverse account you plan to play on. It is free, it takes two minutes, and as of September 27, 2026 it is the only official way to sign up. Ignore any store listing, preorder or reward code that claims otherwise.
Then set expectations. Pre-registration will not get you into a beta, rewards are unannounced, and there is no release date. Our release date tracker is where we log every signal as it arrives, and our next beta test guide will change the day a new recruitment survey opens.
In the meantime, secure your account, whitelist the official sender, and get familiar with the Anima and Eidos you are likely to meet at launch.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I pre-register for Honkai: Nexus Anima?
- Go to the official site at hna.hoyoverse.com, open the pre-registration option, and sign in with a HoYoverse account (or create one). Pre-registration has been open there since September 13, 2025. There is no App Store or Google Play pre-registration yet.
- What are the Honkai: Nexus Anima pre-registration rewards?
- None have been announced as of September 27, 2026. HoYoverse gave milestone rewards tied to total sign-ups for Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, so a similar scheme is plausible, but nothing is confirmed for Nexus Anima.
- Can I pre-register on Google Play or the App Store?
- Not yet. As of September 27, 2026 there is no Google Play, App Store, Steam or Epic Games Store listing for Honkai: Nexus Anima. The official site is the only place to pre-register right now.
- Does pre-registering get me into the beta?
- No. Pre-registration signs you up for launch news. Beta access came from separate recruitment surveys for the Nexus Bond Test, the Aspect Exploration Project and the Evolution Test, and no further test has been announced.
- Can I preorder Honkai: Nexus Anima?
- No. There is nothing to preorder. The game is expected to be free to play like every HoYoverse title, but HoYoverse has not formally confirmed launch pricing. Any site selling a preorder or early access is not official.
- Is there a Honkai: Nexus Anima release date?
- No. HoYoverse has not announced a release date or launch window for any platform or region as of September 27, 2026. Our release date page tracks the evidence and will update when a date is official.
