The Honkai: Nexus Anima Evolution Test is the game’s next closed beta — a limited-time look at the creature-collecting auto-chess game before launch. Here’s how to register and what to expect.

Time-sensitive: sign-ups run June 22 – July 3, 2026. The test starts July 9, 2026.

How to sign up, step by step

  1. Go to the official Honkai: Nexus Anima site.
  2. Find the Evolution Test recruitment banner and open the sign-up survey.
  3. Sign in with (or create) a HoYoverse account.
  4. Complete the eligibility survey — your region and the device you’ll test on (PC, iOS, or Android).
  5. Submit before July 3, 2026, and watch your email for a client-download code if you’re chosen.

Who can join

Access is by selection rather than first-come, and availability varies by region and platform. Filling in accurate device details helps — HoYoverse uses them to balance the test pool across PC and mobile.

What to expect in the test

  • Formation auto-chess battles — position your Anima on a grid and let Trait roles and Aspect synergies play out automatically.
  • Catching Anima across the Planes, including rare Chromatic variants.
  • New content over the last test: more characters, Anima, regions, and systems.
  • A data wipe at the end — treat it as a scouting run, not permanent progress.
