Batnyss Anidex entry
Keeping the right distance is a tricky part of human socializing, and truth be told, Batnyss aren't much better at it. People are often drawn to their cute, compact forms, chasing after them in the wild. To a Batnyss, it's all just a fun game. But when someone gets too close, or tries to scoop one up, anxiety sets in. Instinctively, it tries to calm the other party down, but... they tend to overdo it. Only then does the Batnyss realize, with some guilt, that humans, for all their size, really aren't that frightening.
Dispositions
Batnyss carries these four. Exactly one runs at a time, so this is the one thing about it you choose rather than roll for. What the rest of the roster carries is on the Dispositions reference.

Rapport ranks
Duplicate copies of Batnyss raise its Rapport rank, and each rank changes its signature skill. The ladder is not evenly weighted: ranks 1 and 4 scale numbers that are already there, ranks 3 and 5 are a flat stat bump and nothing else, and ranks 2 and 6 are where the skill actually gains something new. Those two are the ones worth pulling for.
Active: Unleashes a sleepwave in the direction of the most opponents, dealing 230% (ATK) Physical DMG and stunning the first opponent hit by the sleepwave for 1s. The sleepwave's DMG decreases after hitting each opponent, down to a minimum of 40% of its initial DMG.
| Rank | Effect | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| R1 | Physical DMG dealt by the sleepwave increases to 275% ATK. | Scales the skill |
| R2 | The first opponent hit by Sleep Wave is Stunned for 2s. | New effect |
| R3 | ATK increases by 16%. | Flat stat bump |
| R4 | Physical DMG dealt by the sleepwave increases to 320% ATK. | Scales the skill |
| R5 | ATK increases by 16%. | Flat stat bump |
| R6 | Sleepwaves additionally deal 100% ATK as True DMG. | New effect |
