Noctumbra
Dark · Explorer
A wolf-like Dark Anima marked by the flames on its tail. Despite a menacing on-screen reputation (it headlines HoYoverse's mock thriller "FORBIDDEN! An Arcane Rite, A Legendary Anima"), Noctumbra is teased as a gentle creature at heart.

Explorer role: The deepest role on the roster. Aspect bonuses treat it as offensive in some cases (Attack SPD under Strength) and durable in others (Max Health under Insatiability), so its scaling depends on the Aspect you build around.
Energy: Has Omnileech, which is what lets it trade damage and survivability instead of choosing one.
Dispositions
Noctumbra carries these four. Exactly one runs at a time, so this is the one thing about it you choose rather than roll for. What the rest of the roster carries is on the Dispositions reference.
- Frisky
For each hex traveled through movement or displacement, gain a 4% DMG Bonus, up to 24%.
- Voracious
Gain 10% Omnileech. The effect doubles the first time Health drops below 50%.
Effect shown at level III.
- Enthusiastic
Gain 12% Attack SPD. The effect doubles when attacking opponents with less than 50% Health.
Effect shown at level III.
- Cautious
Gain 12% Armor. This effect doubles for 10s after the start of battle.
Effect shown at level III.
Abilities
- Proud Shade's PassingBattle Skill
Charges at the farthest opponent for 140% Physical DMG along its path and toggles Lingering Shade. Marked opponents take 10% more damage; striking a marked target instead deals 280% Physical DMG and removes the mark.

Rapport ranks
Duplicate copies of Noctumbra raise its Rapport rank, and each rank changes its signature skill. The ladder is not evenly weighted: ranks 1 and 4 scale numbers that are already there, ranks 3 and 5 are a flat stat bump and nothing else, and ranks 2 and 6 are where the skill actually gains something new. Those two are the ones worth pulling for.
Active: Charge to the opponent farthest away, dealing 200% (ATK) Physical DMG to opponents along the path, and applying or removing Lingering Shade. Keyword: Lingering Shade: When the Active Skill hits opponents without Lingering Shade, mark them with Lingering Shade for 6s. When hits opponents with Lingering Shade, deals 310% (ATK) Physical DMG and removes it.
| Rank | Effect | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| R1 | DMG dealt by the Active Skill increases to 230% Physical DMG. DMG dealt by Lingering Shade increases to 365% Physical DMG. | Scales the skill |
| R2 | Lingering Shade will not be removed, and the DMG received by opponents with Lingering Shade increases by 12%. | New effect |
| R3 | ATK increases by 20%. | Flat stat bump |
| R4 | DMG dealt by the Active Skill increases to 260% Physical DMG. DMG dealt by Lingering Shade increases to 420% Physical DMG. | Scales the skill |
| R5 | ATK increases by 20%. | Flat stat bump |
| R6 | 50% of the DMG dealt by the Active Skill to opponents with Lingering Shade is converted to True DMG. In addition, when Noctumbra defeats an opponent, it regenerates 10 Energy. | New effect |
